In 2005, after nearly a decade in the industry, Kristine Singer had a vision to build a salon in Chicago's West Loop. With the dedication of like-minded creative stylists, the vision became a reality. We innovate, educate, respect each other and have fun.

Solo is PROUD to partner with Green Circle Salons, a GREEN-conscious cooperative. We recycle/reuse upwards of 95% of all our waste (metals, plastics, paper, chemicals). A 3% service charge is added to all service prices to continue our recycling efforts. We also partner with Solo Headquarters, a 501c3 raising awareness for mental health.
